We take Pride in our paella
We hope you’ve all been busy sipping on some tinto de verano (remember we gave you the recipe last week? Can’t remember? How many have you had?) to keep you cool…though the rain seems to have intervened in this part of Cambridgeshire.
It’s hard to believe for us at Habis that it was nearly a year ago that we were feeding the masses with paella at Pride in Ely. Well, if you missed it last year it is back next week. For the second year, the rainbow flags will be unfurling on the Riverside green by the river in Ely – and we are once again proud to be providing paella to the hungry masses.
Habis will be serving up a meat paella and llapingachos for those who don’t eat meat. The Riverside Bar and Kitchen will also be doing a barbecue so between us we should be able to keep you satisfied. So, if you want to find out more check out the Pride in Ely website.
The fun kicks off at 10am and lasts until 430pm…but if you can’t get enough then there will be an after party that kicks off at 7pm until….2am at the Riverside Bar and Kitchen.
Those people have stamina, and the team are already stirring things up by practising their cocktail skills and putting on special cocktails especially for Pride…there’s a cocktail for every colour of the rainbow, so don’t forget your free ticket and get your mouth round a satisfying cocktail…no better way to kick off the night – oh, and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
If you can’t make it, or fancy some tapas instead, you can always visit us in Littleport where we have a few cheeky additions to our normal menu. What are they? You’ll have to find out for yourselves!
